"Rudy Giuliani may be America's Mayor, but a new poll says he's lost ground in his home state of New York.

A Siena College Research Institute Poll released Monday found the former New York City mayor trails Sen. John McCain by 12 points in the upcoming New York state presidential primary."

"In a statement, Siena poll spokesman Steven Greenberg called Guiliani's swooning popularity numbers 'a stunning turnaround.'"

"'John McCain has turned a 33-point deficit with Republican voters in December into a 12-point lead over Rudy Giuliani today,' Greenberg said, adding that the former mayor 'is getting beat by McCain in the suburbs and trounced upstate.'"
