Nope

Not this one, either. BBC (11.23.05):
"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has suffered further embarrassment after his third nominee for the key post oil minister was rejected by MPs. Mohsen Tasalloti, the director of a petrochemical development zone in southern Iran, was dogged by rumours over his personal life and fortune." Iranian MPs reject oil minister
Iran's parliament, the Majlis, "rejected the president's first two nominees for lacking experience in the oil sector." "Out of 254 parliamentarians who cast votes, only 77 voted in favor of Mohsen Tasalloti, a veteran of the petrochemicals industry. Lawmakers heartily congratulated each other when the results of the vote were read out." Even members of Mahmoud's own party voted against him. Mohsen took a lot of heat. "Speculation was rife last week that Tasalloti had a daughter in Britain and a green card to work in Iran's arch-enemy the United States, raising doubts about his loyalty to the Islamic Republic." Mahmoud's been having a bit of trouble lately, not only with his choices for oil minister. The main problem? He's bad for business. "Already the former chairman of the Tehran stock exchange says that the bourse has lost 25% of its value since Mr Ahmadinejad came to power - the largest drop in the history of the exchange."
