Hop To It

Dow Jones (01.15.08):
"President George W. Bush said he's complaining to Saudi Arabian officials about high oil prices during his three-day visit to the kingdom, holding out the threat that Western economies could suffer if big oil producers don't act to reign in prices."

Bush Complains to Saudis About Oil Prices

"'I talked to the ambassador' at a dinner last night at Saudi King Abdullah's palace 'and will again talk to his majesty tonight about the fact that oil prices are very high, which is tough on our economy,' Bush said on Tuesday morning."

Jeepers, George. That's too damned bad. USAToday (01.15.08):

"'We will raise production when the market justifies it,' says Ali Al-Naimi, minister of petroleum and mineral resources for the world's largest oil-producing nation."

Saudis rebuff Bush's call for increases in oil production

Don't like it? Hey, you don't have to.
