"Police arrested Steven Klein Sunday morning for disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer after allegedly cutting down the flag. In a release, police said the arrest, 'was in conjunction with a reported theft of a flag and criminal damage to property.'"

"The flag had been flying upside down for several months outside of a restaurant owned by Vito Congine Jr." Vito's been pissed off ever since the village denied him a liquor license for a supper club he owns.

Oh and by the way, guy who cut it down "had been a supporter of Congine and planned to work at the supper club."
