A Dork By Any Other Name

So do you think this guy's ever been laid? CNN (09.29.10):
"A conservative activist known for making undercover videos plotted to embarrass a CNN correspondent by recording a meeting on hidden cameras aboard a floating 'palace of pleasure' and making sexually suggestive comments, e-mails and a planning document show."

Fake pimp from ACORN videos tries to 'punk' CNN correspondent

Here was his plan. "Among the props listed were a 'condom jar, dildos, posters and paintings of naked women, fuzzy handcuffs' and a blindfold."

Fuzzy handcuffs? Hubba, hubba!

Well Duh

Having a black guy as President is making rich old white guys nervous? Tell us something we didn't know, eh? Washington Post (07.04.10):
"(T)he Tea Party is essentially the reappearance of an old anti-government far right that has always been with us and accounts for about one-fifth of the country. The Times reported that Tea Party supporters 'tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.' They are also more affluent and better educated than Americans as a whole. This is the populism of the privileged."

The Tea Party: Populism of the privileged

"And the poll suggested something that white Americans are reluctant to discuss: Part of the anger at President Obama among Tea Partiers does appear to be driven by racial concerns."

Sucking The Government Teat, Part Two

NYTimes (03.27.10), via Kos:
"When Tom Grimes lost his job as a financial consultant 15 months ago, he called his congressman, a Democrat, for help getting government health care.

Then he found a new full-time occupation: Tea Party activist."

"With No Jobs, Plenty of Time for Tea Party

"Mr. Grimes, who receives Social Security, has filled the back seat of his Mercury Grand Marquis with the literature of the movement, including Glenn Beck’s 'Arguing With Idiots” and Frederic Bastiat’s 'The Law,' which denounces public benefits as 'false philanthropy.'"

Sucking The Government Teat

No law saying you can't be a royal dickhead. TPM (03.26.10) (link in original), via The Washington Monthly:
"The Washington Post today has a profile of Mike Vanderboegh, the 57-year-old former militiaman from Alabama who last week posted a call for people to throw bricks through the windows at Democratic offices around the country to protest their votes for Health Care Reform."

Classic

So what, you might ask?

Vanderboegh, "(a) radical libertarian, champion of getting big government off the people's backs...lives on government disability checks down outside of Birmingham, Alabama."

As the Post article details, this Son of Liberty "receives $1,300 a month because of his congestive heart failure, diabetes and hypertension. He has private health insurance through his wife, who works for a company that sells forklift products."

Asswipe better hope she never gets laid off. At least until they qualify for Medicare anyway.

Tucker Kicks Ass

When Tucker was in high school, some guy made a pass at him in a can in a park in DC. What did Tucker do? He got backup, of course! MSNBCLive (08.28.07), via Media Matters:
CARLSON: I went back with someone I knew and grabbed the guy by the -- you know, and grabbed him, and -- and --

ABRAMS: And did what?

CARLSON: Hit him against the stall with his head, actually!"

Carlson claimed that after incident in a public bathroom, he assaulted the man who "bothered" him

"He went out tiger hunting with his elephant and gun.
In case of accidents, he always took his mom.
He's the all American bullet-headed Saxon mother's son."

Tucker. Sigh. What a poofda.
